WildAid's mission is to end the illegal wildlife trade in our lifetimes by reducing demand through public awareness campaigns and providing comprehensive marine protection. Sea of Change supports WildAid’s efforts to stop the worldwide trade of sharks and mantas and develop and implement enforcement regimens for marine protected areas.
The illegal wildlife trade is estimated to be worth over $10 billion (USD) per year and has drastically reduced many wildlife populations around the world. Just like the drug trade, law and enforcement efforts have not been able to resolve the problem. Every year, hundreds of millions of dollars are spent protecting animals in the wild, yet virtually nothing is spent on stemming the demand for wildlife parts and products. WildAid is the only organization focused on reducing the demand for these products, with the strong and simple message: when the buying stops, the killing can too. Learn More >

|Pack for a Purpose
There is a need everywhere in the world; however, it is sometimes difficult to identify specific needs in places far from home.
Pack for a Purpose's goal is to assist travelers who want to say thank you in this manner or who simply want to expand their generosity beyond their own communities. The supply lists for destinations on their website are provided directly by the local community-based projects which receive and use the supplies, enabling travelers to make informed decisions and to bring items which meet the needs of those who will be using them.
